Izid Windows 7 se bliža. Uradno bo izšel 22. oktobra 2009. Kdaj ga bo na voljo v Sloveniji še ni znano.

Windows 7 bo moč kupiti v treh različicah: Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Professional in Windows 7 Home namenjen domačim uporabnikom.
